On Sunday's We Rest...? Not this Mom!

How Many of you feel like you spend all day some days, in the kitchen!
Today has definite been one of those days. This morning I got up made a breakfast spread with everyone’s special requests. I usually only do this once a week on the weekend. But these people think I am their regular waitress at IHOP or something! I have seriously got to stop this madness. After breakfast while everyone else slept off their full bellies I washed the dishes, cleaned the kitchen and took out Cornish hens to thaw out for dinner. They slept, I did not. I finished the dishes, figured out the rest of our meal for the night and laid down for a quick power nap….
Not 15 minutes later, In walks my sweet toddler, “hey mommy”, smiling at me. Once I am awake enough to focus, I noticed the cream coating her hair. It seems she has taken her excema medication and rubbed it into her hair. After my near breakdown I put her into the tub washed her hair and the caked up cream out of it. Got her dressed, detangled, moisturized and styled her hair, again and headed back to the kitchen to go ahead and get dinner going.

On the menu tonight, Cornish hens, sweet potatoes, sweet peas and brown rice. I will share my Cornish Hen Crockpot Recipe below.
After spending all day in the kitchen and a delicious dinner. We watched some tv put the little one in her room watching Bubble Guppies until she passed out. Unfortunately I passed out first. Next thing I know her dad comes in and wakes me up as he went to the rest room and then peeped in on her only to find that she had climbed up on her dresser pulled down her conditioner and emptied the entire contain out on her hair….. Midnight washing her hair, AGAIN! I am so over this day!!!!!!!
Oh well tomorrow is a new day, I will start my diet, again! Starting Fresh with my 90 day fitness challenge. Prepared this time. I have my fatfighers, thermofits, Greens & Profit protein shakes, and I went to the grocery and stocked up on fruits and veggies, turkey and chicken and bottled water! I have my Zumba routines and my Core de Force DVDs! May the odds be ever in my favor.

Instructions
Let your Tyson Premium Cornish Hens thaw the night before. Open your package and pat your birds dry with paper towels.
  1. In a bowl, mix all of the seasonings together.
  2. Cover the bird with your seasoning mix. I sprinkle some inside the hens too.
  3. Tear 6 pieces of aluminum foil. Crunch the foil into balls and place in your slow cooker.
